Lindelse Church
Lindelse has the longest church on Langeland. The beautiful old rectory also stands just to the south of the church.
A cosy village in the south og Langeland with good hiking routes in the surrounding area.
The village og Lindelse is first mentioned in 1231 al Linløsæ. "Lin" is the tree name linden and "-løse" can mean a deficiency of the place, e.g. forestlessness.
Lindelse used to have a butcher, bakery and flower shop in Langegade, but like many other villages, even the grocery store has had to close.
