Det tror vi på
In Art Tower 4 on Korsebøllevej, two very different artists, Jørgen Te-Jun Chang and Susanne Eriksen, have come together to create a joint piece. They were inspired by the tower's architecture and invited nature to be a part of the artwork. The piece is 3.86 meters high and 72 centimeters wide and is titled "Det tror vi på" (We believe in this). It references church art and myths about the vitality of nature. With this work, the artists aim to create a moment of tranquility in a small space.
Jørgen Te-Jun Chang
Jørgen Te-Jun Chang is an artist who finds great satisfaction in a direct and quick working method, which perfectly complements his approach to the subject. He uses a limited color palette as a conscious dogma that challenges and breaks through his own rigid boundaries. For Chang, it is a liberating and necessary experience to play through drawing and painting, bringing a sense of freedom and renewal to his artistic practice.
Susanne Eriksen
Susanne Eriksen is an artist who works in a loose and expressive style. Her works use a combination of watercolor and sketch-like strokes to create a lively and dynamic expression. She uses natural and muted colors that highlight the structure and character of the subject. The spontaneous splashes and loose, free lines in her art add a sense of movement. She manages to balance precision and freedom, giving her works both a realistic and impressionistic quality.
Her style is characterized by an expressive and naturalistic approach, where she places great emphasis on the sensory and narrative aspects of nature.
