Badepunkt: Åsø Strand
Beautiful beach with views of cliffs. The water is often very calm as the coast is protected from the wind from the neighbouring island of Funen.
2 kilometres northwest of Tranekær on the west coast of Langeland lies Åsø Beach.
The beach is located in beautiful natural surroundings with Åsø Forest to the east and a large wetland just behind the beach.
The beach is sandy with some pebbles and broken shells scattered all over the beach. At the northern part of the beach, a mound of large stones has been built. The seabed off the beach is sand with pebbles scattered evenly across the bottom. The beach is 15 metres wide and 75 metres long (see the boundaries of the beach on the overview map)
