Impressive book collection and second-hand market - a visit is an experience in itself
The non-profit organisation "Bogbylangeland.dk" was created in 2012 after the idea of the first English book village in the small town of Hay-on-Wye, located in Wails.
Over the years, the place has evolved from a modest sales library in Lejbøllegaard's ballroom to a large sales library with more than 30,000 books and a 1200 m2 second-hand market.
Bogbylangeland.dk is run by volunteers and a few permanent librarians.
Bogby is open all year round (except for the first 2 weeks of January).
