Pop-up gallery with artistic diversity in Rudkøbing
Galleri Thune offers changing art experiences throughout the summer – right in the centre of Rudkøbing. From 1 July to 30 September, you can visit a colourful and creative pop-up gallery at Østergade 46 – just opposite SuperBrugsen.
Art and design in a shared setting
Three local artists will be exhibiting in the gallery throughout the period:
- Kirsten Thune, visual artist from Tullebølle
- Janne Egstrøm, goldsmith from Tranekær
- Lenka Kvist, designer from Tullebølle
They will be presenting paintings, jewellery, dishes and pots – created with a sense of colour, form and detail.
Changing guest exhibitions – all summer long
In addition, you can experience a number of guest artists who will be exhibiting for two weeks at a time. This means that you can come back again and again – and enjoy a new artistic experience every time.

- 8 September – 20 September: Gitte Niebuhr, visual artist from Rudkøbing
- 22 September – 30 September: Kirsten Højgaard, visual artist from Rudkøbing
Worth a visit – all summer long
Galleri Thune is open every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturdays until 1 p.m.). Everyone is welcome to the opening reception on Saturday, 5 July from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission is free to both the gallery and the courtyard, where SuperBrugsen's bicycles are parked – an informal and cosy break area in the middle of town.
