Langelands Museum houses an impressive collection of artefacts that tell the island's history from ancient to modern times. Founded by merchant Jens Winther, the museum has since developed into a cultural hub for the island's unique archaeological and historical treasures.

Ancient treasures and historical finds

Langeland is known for its rich ancient finds, and the museum's extensive collection of artefacts takes up a large part of the exhibition. Discover well-preserved artefacts from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age as well as finds from the Renaissance fishing camp Sandhagen.
