Lohals Lighthouse
Lighthouse from 1933 at Lohals Harbour
The elegant, white lighthouse, with a flame height of 8 metres, was built in 1933 and replaced the lighthouse from 1880.
When the lighthouse was built, the harbour was somewhat busier, with both cargo and passenger ships.
The harbour was alive when the steamer ‘Tranekær’ arrived at Lohals from Korsør at 12 noon and left the harbour again at 4 pm on its way back to Korsør.
In the summer, the steamer mainly carried tourists from Copenhagen.
